Side comment: getting the video and data file in sync (i.e. Finding the right Offset value) could be a bit of a pain in DashWare, but for DJI drones is very simple, and very accurate. Here's how you do it: 1. Open the CSV file with Excel, write down the timestamp of the very first record (e.g. 2020-10-20 3:45:32.5pm). GoPro Fusion Studio App. GoPro App for Desktop.
Dashware For Macbook
Icy tower classic mac. Many customers run DashWare on their Mac using Boot Camp, Parallels or VMWare. Boot Camp is the most popular because it free with recent Mac OS versions. Kid pix deluxe 4 free for mac.
Apple provides very good instructions at http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1461. DashWare runs on all versions of Windows from XP through Windows 8.1. If you do not already own a copy of Windows, your friends or IT guys at your office probably have extra copies laying around.
Please know that we understand that having a native Mac version would be preferable. At this point, our company is not big enough to support two operating systems. If we ever release a Mac version, we will make sure that any DashWare licenses that you own are transferable.
We hope you enjoy DashWare and look forward to seeing your videos.
Instructions on how to merge GoPro videos with GPS telemetry.
Issue: Long GoPro recordings are split into 4gb files. When you try to merge them the GPS telemetry is also split. This joins all into one long video with one long telemetry path.
Frustration:I have tried all the solutions out there; FFmpeg, old GoPro studio, custom video editors that read metadata, RaceRender, and even edited and merged manually CSV telemetry files which was very time-consuming. Some worked but painfully. This is the most reliable & convenient user-friendly solution. Hope this helps someone.
Yes I know there’s RareRender but after spending $500 on a camera I’m not spending more money on software!
Solution: DashWare on Windows.

Dashware For Mac N
Detailed Steps:
Installation:
install VirtualBox and Windows 10 (unless you’re on windows) example virtual box settings for best processing:
settings: system: motherboard 8192 MB
settings: system: processor: 4
settings: display: video memory: 256 MB
settings: display: Acceleration: Enable 3D Acceleration
settings: display: Acceleration: Enable 2D Video Acceleration
install DashWare, then the packages in step 4 & 5.
Reboot
Note this will not work with Loop Video recording mode, only on regular long video recording automatically split by the camera. The telemetry data for loop videos restarts the time counter from 0 so time cannot be synced unless you manually increment the time in the exported CSV files.
Editing:
make sure your video was recorded with GPS on and not Loop Videos. (can check in the Quik GoPro app)
create a new project using “GoPro Template Imperial”:
merge the videos retaining telemetry data, and add data CSV file from the merge
